About the Practice
Our modern practice in Congleton boasts a strong, experienced clinical team passionate about patient care and developing future dental professionals. You will receive full support throughout your apprenticeship.
Working Hours
This is a full‑time role. Rota:
* Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Tuesday 8:45am – 6:30pm
* Wednesday 8:00am – 5:30pm
* Thursday 8:00am – 5:30pm
* Friday 8:45am – 4:30pm
One Saturday morning every other month may be required, with a full day back in lieu.
What We’re Looking For
* Maths & English at Level 4 / Grade C or above (or equivalent)
* A highly motivated individual committed to giving 100% to their training
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A driving licence is an advantage, as you may be asked to travel to the Alderley Edge campus once trained
We will also consider trainees already enrolled on a Dental Nurse course.
Role of Apprentice Dental Nurse
The apprenticeship will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to become a GDC‑registered qualified dental nurse. Key responsibilities include providing outstanding patient care from reception to departure, supporting dental professionals with chair‑side assistance, and delivering the highest level of patient care while earning whilst you learn.
Qualifications & Training
You will achieve a Level 3 qualification after an 18‑24 month programme. Prior to the end‑point assessment you must hold Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A*–C) if not already achieved.
