School Inclusion Centre Deputy Manager – Willenhall
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Working Pattern: 8:00am-4:00pm (flexibility)
Weeks per year: 41 (term‑time only)
Salary: £27,000‑£30,000 (£30,128‑£33,476 FTE)

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Inclusion Centre Manager in coordinating the daily operation of the centre, ensuring smooth timetables, transitions and staffing throughout the day.
* Provide operational leadership by overseeing routines, allocating responsibilities and ensuring staff deliver high‑quality practice.
* Lead on behaviour support, including the Reset area, de‑escalation, behaviour expectations and escalation processes.
* Drive improvements in pupil attendance, engagement, behaviour and overall outcomes, helping to reduce permanent and fixed‑term exclusions.
* Maintain a positive, structured learning environment and support staff and teachers with behaviour management when required.
* Deliver targeted 1:1 and group mentoring sessions using the TFTF Curriculum.
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, school leaders and external professionals to ensure a joined‑up approach.
* Support pupil transitions back into mainstream education or into Post‑16 pathways.
* Produce weekly updates and concise reports for schools, including documentation for behaviour, suspensions or exclusion cases.
* Use Impact Analytics to inform planning, intervention strategies and decision‑making.
* Contribute to a positive, solution‑focused team culture and support the Centre Manager with ongoing operational improvements.
Essential Qualifications
* Experience in behaviour support, youth engagement, pastoral care or classroom settings.
* Positive, energetic and resilient in challenging environments.
* Confidence coordinating routines and supporting a team.
* Ability to de‑escalate challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
* Strong communication, admin and organisation skills.
* Build quick, positive relationships with pupils, parents and school staff.
* Thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced school environments.

Bonus Qualifications
* Experience leading within youth, education or behaviour settings.
* Safeguarding knowledge or qualifications.
* Teaching, coaching or mentoring experience.
