Sports Facilities Manager
Salary: Up to £33,265.39 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37 per week
Working Weeks: Full Year
Contract Type: Permanent
Site: Accrington & Rossendale College and Nelson & Colne College

The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Sports Facilities Manager.

East Lancashire Learning Group operate sports hall and 3g provision at both the Accrington & Rossendale Campus and the Nelson & Colne campus. The college works with a host of community sports organisations to provide facilities for training and competitive sports. Alongside this the sports facilities manager will work alongside the curriculum to ensure provision to support teaching and learning and marketing activities of the college.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington but will be required to travel across sites.

This post could suit an experienced leisure professional looking for their next challenge, or a leisure professional looking to take their first step in leadership.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage the facilities in line with health and safety guidance to provide a safe environment for sports and activities

• Supervise staff ensuring rotas are complete and monitoring staffing levels

• Promoting and marketing the facilities to maximise usage and meet income targets

What We Are Looking For:

• Someone with experience of the leisure sector and leadership

• Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice

• Experience of supervising the work of others

• Customer-focussed mindset with exceptional customer service
