Job Title: Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer (Erlang/Elixir)

Clearance: Candidates holding or eligible for SC, MOD DV, or UK*C DV clearance
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive DevSecOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Erlang and Elixir, ideally holding SC, MOD DV, or UK*C DV clearance. The client would also consider exceptional candidates who are eligible for those clearances.
This role involves securing and automating complex application and platform environments, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and working closely with development teams to embed security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Erlang/Elixir applications.
Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows and pipelines.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Monitor, analyse, and optimise system performance and security compliance.
Required Skills
Strong experience in DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, automation).
Hands-on programming experience with Erlang and Elixir.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Containerisation and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
Security monitoring and vulnerability management.
Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
Nice to Have
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Knowledge of distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
