Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods that delight our customers and uphold our commitment to quality. This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment. Duties
* Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and biscuits according to established recipes.
* Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create high-quality baked goods.
* Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
* Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient supplies.
* Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve baking skills.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Baker.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in food production.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
* A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious baked goods.
