Job Description:
As an experienced phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in our new project, providing high quality services to breast cancer patients in a homecare setting. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing venipunctures and other requested venous blood samples from patients with breast cancer.
* Training patients on how to record accurate ECG readings using a portable device in the patient's home.
* Accurately labelling and handling blood samples.
* Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
* Collaborating with Healthcare Professionals as well as other Apodi team members to ensure seamless patient care.
* Educating patients and their families about the procedure and answering any questions they may have.
* Travelling to pre scheduled appointments.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist with formal evidence of competency and experience.
* Experience working in a homecare setting.
* Previous experience of phlebotomy for patients who are undertaking cancer treatment is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Valid driver's licence (max.6 points) and reliable transportation.
* Willingness to travel extensively depending on the location of patients.
