Mechanical Project Engineer – Bournemouth – 6 Month Contract We’re working with a well-established M&E contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a 6 month hospital project in Bournemouth. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical systems for diverse engineering projects. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage material procurement and delivery schedules. Oversee on-site mechanical installation works, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality procedures. Support the Project Manager in tracking progress, resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and review technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and prompt resolution of issues. Participate in commissioning, testing, and handover processes, ensuring systems are fully functional and meet regulatory standards.
