This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Patient Systems Team leading ondeveloping and providing technical support and technical systems administration for TEWV's portfolio of Patient Information Systems.
The role will primarily lead on the development and maintenance of SystmOne, but will also undertake development and maintenance on TEWV's other Patient Systems which are CITO, Electronic Prescribing, Paris and Virtual Visits.
Applicants MUST be educated to Degree standard or equivalent in an Informatics Subject, or evidence equivalent experiential learning. In addition, applicants must have significant experience of managing, supporting and administering large information systems and Significant experience of planning and delivering change within an informatics environment.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
Key duties include:
1. Planning, delivering and evaluating appropriate systems developments using the Agile methodology.
2. Developing and Maintaining Patient Systems (Primarily SystmOne)
3. Managing System upgrades (including testing, configuration and issue management), which will include periodic out of hours working.
4. Supervising a team of Systems Officers to support the technical administration and development of large-scale patient systems.
