Senior Manager of Proposals
to lead our bid strategy and execution across the EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of micro-mobility in cities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You'll be at the helm of our EMEA proposals team - coaching talent, optimizing processes, and delivering standout proposals that win business and help cities meet their sustainability goals. For this position, we are targeting individuals who live within the EMEA region as it will offer practical advantages due to team collaboration and the positions regional focus. What you will do: Oversee the full bid lifecycle, including pre-release preparation, bid analysis, final submission, and post-bid evaluations. Lead and manage a team of bid professionals by setting goals, defining KPIs, supporting performance processes, and fostering collaboration through regular one-on-one and team meetings. Serve as lead proposal manager on high-priority or complex bids. Ensure consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment of all submissions with business objectives. Act as the key liaison between the proposals team and cross-functional stakeholders. Report on bid pipeline progress, win/loss trends, and proposal quality metrics to leadership. Provide insight-driven recommendations for future bid planning and strategy. About you: 10+ years of experience in proposal management, ideally with background in city-level business-to-government (B2G) procurement. Demonstrated success leading government bid efforts across EMEA markets. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities. Proficient written and verbal communicator, with experience coaching and refining others' contributions to proposals. Knowledge of bid management tools (e.g., Responsive, Loopio) and collaborative platforms (e.g., Google Workspace). Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability in both team leadership and project management. Skilled in stakeholder engagement across various functions and levels of seniority. Experience working in complex or large organizational environments. Detail-oriented and structured, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style with a hands-on attitude. Entrepreneurial, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources. Ability to discern the cost-benefit analysis of your and your teams' time and the company resources.
