Actual salary: £9,387 per annum (based on term-time only plus 4 weeks, 15 hrs/week)

Edgar Wood Academy is seeking a reliable and dedicated Evening Cleaner to help maintain a safe, hygienic, and pleasant learning environment for our students and staff. This is an ideal role for someone looking to work weekday evenings, with regular school holidays off - perfect for fitting around family or other commitments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and other areas to a high standard
* Carrying out routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins
* Replenishing supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap) as needed
* Safely operating cleaning equipment and using materials as instructed
* Reporting maintenance issues or hazards
* Following all health and safety procedures and site protocols
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from individuals who are:
* Reliable, punctual, and take pride in their work
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
* Willing to follow set cleaning routines and health & safety guidance
* Able to work weekday evenings (4:00pm7:00pm) during term time
* Happy to engage in training, including COSHH, first aid, and safeguarding
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided.
