Senior Systems Engineer – GitHub Tooling & Automation - GOLANG - paying up to £700 Inside IR35 - London (Hybrid)
A global technology organisation is building a brand-new GitHub Tooling & Operations team, and they’re looking for a Senior System Engineer to play a foundational role.
You’ll build automation tools, engineer GitHub Apps and Actions, enforce code quality and security policies at scale, and explore how Generative AI (like GitHub Copilot) can transform engineering workflows.
If you’re passionate about building the internal platforms that make engineers more productive, this role offers massive impact and technical ownership.

What You Bring
* Proficiency in Go.
* Strong experience with GitHub APIs, Actions, and GitHub Enterprise features
* Background in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
* Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, and Git workflows
* Bonus: Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, and a passion for AI tooling
