Job Description
A great 12 month opportunity to join our Procurement Operations team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure buying activity is efficient, well‑governed and customer‑focussed. You’ll play a key role in keeping our procure‑to‑pay processes running smoothly, providing high‑quality support and helping teams make the right purchasing decisions.
What you'll be doing
* Managing requisition queues and progressing purchase order approvals in line with policy
* Following up on queries and correcting documentation to keep transactions accurate and compliant
* Delivering high‑quality procurement process support that enables users to work within risk guidelines
* Supporting colleagues to adopt and follow procurement processes, standards and best practice
* Capturing data accurately and on time to maintain strong data integrity
* Working closely with Accounts Payable to reduce PO exceptions and improve PO penetration
* Guiding business users through the purchase order and ordering process in line with company requirements
* Ensuring procurement activity linked to external customer delivery aligns with Consumer Duty commitments

* Confident problem‑solving skills and sound judgement
* Experience engaging and supporting a range of stakeholders
* Attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture
* Ability to navigate conflict or resistance constructively, especially during change
* Digital confidence and familiarity with procurement or buying processes
* Working knowledge of Procurement / P2P tools such as Oracle, SAP or Workday
