Electrical Biased Engineer Job Overview We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in Caerphilly, looking to bring an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer into their team. This is a standalone, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills in a fast-paced food production environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate as the sole on-shift engineer, ensuring machinery runs smoothly and efficiently. Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production equipment. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective solutions. Proactively identify risks and implement preventative maintenance measures. React promptly to breakdowns during production, minimizing downtime. Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption. Maintain accurate records of work completed, following health & safety and food safety protocols. Oversee external engineering contractors to ensure adherence to site policies. Electrical Biased Engineer Job Requirements Time-served Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical bias (mechanical skills advantageous).
