Exciting opportunities have arisen within the Access to Health Records team. These 2 roles will be based at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone. Access to Health Records team operating hours: 08:30am to 16:30pm, Monday to Friday.
PLEASE NOTE - WE CANNOT OFFER VISA SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE. If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.
Main duties of the job
* Support one or more teams (Medical or non‑Medical staff).
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict confidence when dealing with patients, staff and other health service business.
* Carry out all Access to Records duties, ensuring compliance with departmental targets, the Health Records Operational Policy, the Data Protection Act, and the Access to Health Records Act 1990.
* Handle internal and external telephone enquiries.
* Use keyboard and data‑input skills, moderate use of display screen equipment and manual handling of healthcare records.

Qualifications and training

* Has gained or is willing to work towards NVQ2.
