Our client in Haslingden, Rossendale is looking to recruit a Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist for a temp to perm role out of their manufacturing and distribution site.
The role will involve:
* Following plans to make and fit seating units and other goods
* Setting and operating machines
* Using various hand tools
* Working in the wood shop and on jobs around the UK, installing products
* Quality checking finished goods
The working times and pay:
* Monday to Friday
* 08:00 - 16:30
* 40 hours per week after breaks
* £13.50 - £14.50 per hour dependent on experience initially
* Pay increases with progression
* Overtime after 40 hours at x 1.25 in the week and x 1.5 at the weekends
* 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate.
Skills/Experience Needed:
* Previous woodwork/machinery experience
* Experience working with furniture manufacturing preferred
* UK Driving Licence, preferably clean is advantageous
* Must be willing to travel to sites around the UK, working hours will vary.
