This is a field-based role carrying out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy construction and plant machinery. Key Responsibilities of the Plant Fitter Service, inspect and repair plant and construction machinery at customer sites Fault-find and repair diesel, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems Attend breakdowns on-site via shared on-call rota (standby and call-out pay included) Complete job sheets, timesheets, and digital records accurately Work independently while coordinating with the parts and service team Help train or support junior technicians when required Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards Plant Fitter Essential Requirements NVQ / SVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plant, Agricultural, Vehicle or Mechanical Engineering Experience with heavy plant, construction equipment or mobile machinery Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics and fault finding Strong work ethic and time management able to work independently in the field Basic IT/computer skills for job reporting Full UK Driving Licence Apply Now Apply now with your CV interviews are ongoing, and were happy to answer any questions before you commit.
