Bioelectronics Engineer - Permanent
Company: Our client is engineering a scalable, end‑to‑end cultured meat production system, including bioprocesses, enabling technologies, software, hardware and raw materials to empower food producers worldwide to create cultivated meats tailored to local tastes and desired specifications.
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Location: The client's site in Cambridge.
Main Duties:
* Designing, fabricating, validating and using bioelectronic devices/sensors for monitoring cells.
* Bioelectronic and impedance data analysis and processing.
* Planning, efficiently executing, comprehensively analyzing and presenting experimental data.
* Coordinating engineering projects.
Background:
* PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering.
* Previous experience designing, fabricating and validating bioelectronic devices or sensors for monitoring cells using impedance.
* Experience with cell culture, ideally adherent and suspension mammalian cells.
* Good data analysis skills.
