Lead the engineering strategy for data ingestion, correlation, normalisation, and enrichment. Continuously optimise scanning configurations to ensure high‑fidelity detection. Provide expert triage and analysis of complex vulnerabilities. Translate technical vulnerabilities into business risk. Collaborate with key stakeholders, security architecture and global engineering teams. Define and maintain VM methodologies and documentation in conjunction with the Process Engineering team. Drive compensating control strategies. Operational Excellence & Service Reliability (Operate) Own integrity of VM pipelines and operational continuity. Oversee lifecycle from detection to closure. Mature operational processes using automation. Provide escalation support. Threat Intelligence Integration & Knowledge Sharing Partner with CTI for threat‑aligned prioritisation. Produce knowledge outputs and advisories. Deliver intelligence‑driven briefings. Represent VM engineering across ET, InfoSec, Legal, OpCos and vendors. Provide assurance to vendor services. Support audit and Cyber Council reporting. What you'll need: Extensive enterprise VM experience across hybrid cloud. Deep technical vulnerability and exploitation understanding. Expert use of Qualys, Wiz and Defender. Automation/orchestration knowledge. Proven process and pipeline optimisation. Strong communication.
