Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician – Health Services Team at HMP Wayland, a Category C prison in Griston, Norfolk, United Kingdom.
Salary: £21.76 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 am – 17:30 pm; weekends and bank holidays 08:30 am – 17:30 pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding, patient‑centred care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to personalise service.
* Maintain a safe, secure medicines management service, ensuring patient records are up‑to‑date and standard operating procedures are followed.
* Administer medicines timely and contribute to cost‑effective prescribing, aligned with the Health in Justice medicines policy.
* Work collaboratively as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
* Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
* Completion of additional vetting and security checks (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
* Relevant post‑qualification pharmacy experience.
* General GCSE education or equivalent.
* Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures.
