Agricultural Technician
Location: Hull Area
Hourly Rate: £15.00 – £19.50 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
Our client is a well-established and reputable agricultural machinery business in the Hull area, and due to continued growth they are looking to add a skilled technician to their service team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, supportive environment where you’ll work on a wide range of modern agricultural machinery while receiving ongoing manufacturer training.
The Role- You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on a wide range of agricultural machinery
* Completing routine servicing and preventative maintenance
* Working on chargeable, warranty, and internal repair jobs
* Accurately completing job cards and all associated documentation
* Liaising professionally with customers and suppliers
* Attending manufacturer and internal training courses to maintain up-to-date product knowledge
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
* Following health & safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture
* Working independently and collaboratively within the service team
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural or similar machinery (plant, construction, HGV, or groundcare experience considered)
* Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Self-motivated, reliable, and professional attitude
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
