A well-established and progressive regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Employment Solicitor to help drive the next stage of growth within its Employment team. With a strong base in both Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham, this is a standout opportunity for an experienced and strategically-minded employment lawyer looking to play a key role in a high-performing but close-knit team.

The Role
1. Broad, predominantly non-contentious advisory workload, with a strong emphasis on preventative strategies and long-term client relationships
2. Around 75% of matters are employer-side, with the remainder focused on senior-level employee advisory
3. Tribunal matters are rare, usually resolved early – the emphasis is on strategic, solutions-driven support
4. You'll work closely with the Head of Employment and existing Associate, offering both senior input and leadership within the team

5. Hybrid working: typically 3 days in the office, 2 days from home, with Mondays being the team’s regular Stratford day
6. Choice of base office: Stratford-upon-Avon or Birmingham

Ideal Candidate Profile
10. Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law
11. Strong background in advisory work, ideally with a clear employer-side focus
12. Comfortable acting as a senior point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance
13. Confident in managing and mentoring junior team members
14. Proven ability – or appetite – to contribute to business development and grow the team’s market presence
