Overview
I am Grace, 28 years old, living in Holt with my mum and dad. I am looking for a supportive, friendly person to join me in making the most of my time both at home and in the community. I enjoy going out for coffee, meeting with friends, and I have a job on Saturdays working for Barnardo's. When I am at home I love gaming and I compose and produce my own electronic music. This role is about helping me live as independently as I can, with privacy and respect for my needs.
Salary: £14.20

Responsibilities
* Help with morning routines and breakfast (downstairs or in bed depending on how I feel).
* Prompt me to take my medication as part of my daily routine.
* Twice a week (Monday and Thursday) assist with showering, including helping me steady myself getting in and out of the shower.
* Occasionally help change my bedding.
* When possible, use your own vehicle to take me to meet friends for coffee and to get to work on Saturdays.
* Support me to access the community and continue developing my life skills.
* Get to know me properly, be accepting, supportive, and encourage my independence.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Respect for privacy and confidentiality; reliable with good timekeeping; able to follow instructions and work on own initiative.
* Hygienic, tidy, and well organized; fit and healthy to undertake the required duties.
* Patient with excellent interpersonal, communication, and social skills; honest and cheerful.
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard; able to work to high standards of health & safety.
* A driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
* Friendly, reliable, and responsible with great communication; respect for privacy and sensitivity to my needs is essential.
* This role is suitable for someone who enjoys helping a young adult live as independently as possible.
* Right to work in the UK and willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check if required.
