Overview

Goodnews is a Bible-believing church where we preach the complete Word of God with the power of the Holy Spirit and emphasis is laid on worship, holiness, prayer, living a right and fulfilling life. Through this, people are able to discover their God given destinies and develop their potential so that they can be what God wants them to be.


Daily Administrative Operations

* Manage bookkeeping, scheduling meetings, and overseeing church staff.
* Financial Management: Process payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist in preparing budgets.
* Event Coordination: Plan and execute church events, including worship services and community outreach programs.
* Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for emails, phone calls, and visitors, ensuring effective communication within the church community.
* Facility Management: Oversee facility usage and ensure compliance with church policies and procedures

These roles require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the church's mission.


Pastoral Responsibilities

* Participate actively in daily prayer meetings, weekly Bible studies, and Sunday services.
* Preach, teach, and lead devotional sessions under the direction of the Lead Pastor.
* Provide pastoral encouragement through written, spoken, and digital ministry.
* Contribute to discipleship programmes by developing teaching resources and leading small group sessions.
* Assist in leading worship, prayer, and intercessory ministry as required.


Supplementary Information

This role is categorised as a ministerial position supporting the religious and charitable mission of Goodnews Christian Centre.

The post is qualified for Home Office Skilled Worker (MoR) visa sponsorship, subject to compliance with sponsorship requirements.

Applicants must demonstrate an active Christian faith and commitment to the church’s character.
