The Role
* Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives to achieve performance targets
* Ensure full compliance with GMP, quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Oversee manufacturing processes including compounding, assembly, cleaning and environmental monitoring
* Review batch records, production documentation and quality data with accuracy
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimisationManage deviations, support CAPA activities and resolve production issues effectively
* Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and operational excellence
* Work closely with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
* Support training, development and performance management within the team
The Person
* Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry (pharma, food, medical device or chemical)
* Previous leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead or Senior Operator level)
* Strong understanding of GMP or similar quality systems
* Experience planning resources to meet production targets
* Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
* Comfortable working cross‑functionally within a production environment
* IT literate with experience using production or reporting systems
* Flexible to work continental shift patterns
