Role Overview
As Junior Buyer, you will support the Procurement Manager and Buying team with day-to-day purchasing activity and administration. You will play a key role in supplier coordination, order placement, system updates, and data handling, helping ensure purchasing processes run efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Buying team Assist with placing orders and liaising with suppliers Support the delivery of cost-effective and business-focused buying activity Manage administrative elements of new product setup and master data processes Maintain and update ERP system records accurately Assist with reporting and analytical data preparation Support existing procurement and buying procedures Carry out additional ad hoc duties as directed by the Procurement Manager
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar buying or procurement support role Experience with stock control and purchase order processing Proven administrative support experience within a buying or procurement function Strong organisational and multitasking skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines High level of numerical accuracy and reporting capability Confident using ERP or similar business systems
