Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, child-centred care in a residential setting
* Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, and emotional well-being of each child
* Implement and follow individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
* Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, empathetic, and clear communication
* Support children with daily routines, education, activities, and life skills development
* Assist with transportation to school, appointments, and community activities
* Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, families, and external professionals
Essential Requirements
be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship – Indefinite Leave to Remain required)
* Full manual UK driving licence
* Aged 25 or over (to meet insurance requirements)
* Held a driving licence for at least 2 years
* 6 points or fewer on licence
* Willingness to work shifts and sleep-ins
* Ability to complete a robust safer recruitment process, including enhanced DBS and references
