We are looking for Support Workers to join our Service based in Basingstoke on a full-time or part-time permanent basis.
About the Service
Our Service is a 24/7 Registered Service dedicated to supporting individuals in leading the lifestyles they choose within a safe environment.
Currently, we support five people - two gentlemen and three ladies. They enjoy each other's company while respecting personal space. They participate in activities such as art and craft, coffee mornings, cinema visits, meals out, and days trips, both together and individually with staff support.
One of the ladies enjoys her own space, watching TV, relaxing in her bedroom, shopping, and dining out. She loves chatting with Support Workers about her travels and visits with her family. The gentlemen enjoy outings like farm visits, cinema, meals, events, dancing classes, and shopping.
What we're looking for
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options
* Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.
* Part-time: various hours depending on availability.
* Shifts between 7am-10pm, including weekends.
*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
