The Tool Connection is a stimulating and challenging place to work. We are currently recruiting for a credit controller to join our small, friendly team.
The Role:
Working in our modern open-plan office, we are looking for someone who can offer outstanding customer service, with an excellent telephone manner and who is a team player.
Day-to-day responsibilities include contacting customers regarding overdue accounts, preparing and taking payments, handling inquiries, updating customer records, running credit checks and reviews. You will ensure all credit control tasks are managed effectively, in line with company procedures and deadlines.
Experience using SAP would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours of work: 09:00 - 17:30 (half an hour for lunch), Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Required Skills:
* Previous credit control experience
* Methodical approach and ability to work as part of a team
* Enthusiasm to complete jobs to the best standard possible
* Flexible approach to work
* Experience in a busy administrative department
* GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Good computer skills, including intermediate level or above in Excel and Word
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional telephone manner
* Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
* Friendly team player
Salary: From £26,500 per year
