What You’ll Do:
1. Labor & Employee RelationsLead union-related matters including contract negotiations, grievance and arbitration processes.Act as the primary liaison with union representatives, fostering collaborative relationships.Address employee concerns promptly and build a culture of trust and teamwork.
2. Organizational Development & Process ImprovementDrive organizational change initiatives, including structure redesign and team-based systems.Lead and support continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and engagement.
3. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.Conduct investigations and respond to complaints or charges.Partner with COEs to implement talent strategies aligned with business goals.
4. Coaching & Leadership SupportProvide guidance on HR policies and employee relations.Coach managers to strengthen leadership capabilities and foster a positive employee experience.
5. Talent DevelopmentIdentify training needs and coordinate development programs.Promote career growth and professional development opportunities.
6. Benefits & Payroll AdministrationOversee benefits programs and ensure alignment with union agreements.Manage weekly payroll and labor data reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Performance & Attendance ManagementSupport managers in performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and attendance tracking.Champion fair and consistent performance management practices.
What You’ll Need:
Education:
8. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Experience:
9. 5–12 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on labor and employee relations in both unionized and non-unionized settings.
10. 5+ years of labor relations experience preferred, including contract negotiations and grievance resolution.
11. Solid understanding of the National Labor Relations Act and related employment laws.
12. Proven ability to influence, engage, and drive change across diverse teams and organizational levels.
13. Experience supporting multi-site operations and navigating complex organizational structures.
14. Familiarity with shared service models; Workday experience is a plus.
15. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility.
16. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
17. Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
