Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking two experienced ACT Pharmacy Technicians to join a dispensary team in Greater Manchester. This locum role offers the opportunity to support safe and efficient dispensing services within a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines as an ACT.
* Support daily dispensary operations including stock management and prescription processing.
* Ensure compliance with legal professional and hospital standards.
* Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential.
* Previous experience in a hospital dispensary setting.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
