As a Registered Manager our expectation is that your home will be rated as at least “Good” by Ofsted
This is a solo Children’s Home where you will:
* Develop Comprehensive Care Plans for each young person.
* Develop a great team and ensure their success.
* Foster Consultation with young people about the care they receive.
* Allocate Key Workers to implement care plans.
* Maintain High Standards of care in line with quality standards and the Home’s Statement of Purpose.
* Handle Complaints and Concerns, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Essential Requirements And Experience
* Passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in care.
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
* Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care, and preferably Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
* Knowledge of The Quality Standards, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
* Skills: planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
* Communication: effective spoken and written communication.
* Understanding Trauma: knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
* Full UK Driving License required.
