Job Purpose
The successful candidate will support aims and objectives of the Volunteer Police Cadet Scheme. You will plan, prepare and deliver regional and national operations events involving the Volunteer Police Cadets and you will provide support to volunteers by developing scheme content including training, events, partnerships.
This role will involve working in the evening and weekend working, and ideally the candidate will hold a full UK driving license.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited, to:
1. To identify and undertake the planning of and force level operations events involving police cadets; liaising with local policing teams, event
organisers and volunteer leaders. This will include volunteering activities, summer camps, training events, visits and working in partnership with other Cadet Forces and Youth Organisations.
2. To attend national and force level events involving police cadets;providing assistance to volunteers and cadets, and acting as SPOC to event organisers.
3. Coordinate Police Cadet Scheme Administration, to include managingcadet applications process; make sure that vetting and DBS checks are up to date. Keep CPD Training records up to date. Complete certificates for Reward and Recognition. Organise Attestation. Make sure Code of Conduct and PSV agreement are kept up to date.
4. To visit cadet unit sessions and activities to maintain contact andprovide advice and guidance to cadet Leaders.
5. To design and produce clear, concise and well:presented trainingmaterial for use within the volunteer police cadet scheme.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
Experience of working with young people.
Experience of large operation planning and management.
