Ex-NTP Teacher role at TieTalent. Core subject tutoring (Maths, English, or Science) for young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs in West Midlands. Multiple positions are available; hiring is ongoing to meet needs.

The SEN/SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tutoring to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other additional educational needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Work with young people referred by local authorities and schools, supporting their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver holistic, engaging sessions that meet individual needs and support progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Qualifications
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and/or other additional educational needs
* Understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available at cost)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with right to work in the UK, including remote/online assignments
* Ability to promote health, safety and wellbeing of children and follow safeguarding policies
Employment status
* Engaged as a Worker for short-term engagements; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do
* Not a self-employed position
