Administration Assistant - Strong Excel Skills needed

Working for a well recognised retailer who focus on delivering high quality products to consumers globally where their products are sold worldwide across multiple online marketplace channels.
As a result of continued growth and internal promotions, we are looking to welcome a Buying Admin Assistant to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in buying, merchandising, and licensing within a vibrant and fast-paced industry.
Your Role Will Include:
1. Acting as a key communication link internally and externally—frequently liaising with suppliers and licensors via email, phone, video call, and in-person meetings.
2. Handling a wide variety of administrative tasks to support the buying department.
3. Creating, updating, and maintaining product pricing spreadsheets and databases based on parameters from buying and finance teams.
4. Supporting trade meetings by working closely with other departments to help deliver on sales objectives.
5. Collaborating with production teams to provide accurate costing and development briefs; reviewing and approving samples when needed.
6. Managing your own time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Designing, maintaining, and analyzing reports and dashboards in Excel to support business and departmental goals.
8. Taking detailed notes during range planning and seasonal development meetings and providing summaries where needed.
9. Conducting competitor research and market analysis to support product development; compiling trend and range boards.
10. Attending industry events and traveling to supplier and licensor meetings when required.
About You:
11. Strong communication and organizational skills.
12. A genuine passion for product and fashion.
13. Advanced Excel skills – must be highly proficient in spreadsheet management, using formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and other analytical functions.
14. Experience creating and maintaining structured reports in Excel.
15. High attention to detail and accuracy.
16. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
17. Motivated, eager to learn, and willing to go the extra mile.
