This is a fantastic opportunity in a Key Account Manager role that doesn’t come around very often. It is perfect for someone who is looking to really make a role their own.
You will be responsible for handling all customer requirements and to ensure great customer service. This will include providing quotes and building strong relationships. You will be responsible for actively seeking new business with new and established customers.

Position: Key Account Manager Location: {Stafford ST16 3HJ} Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Key Account Manager main duties will include:
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the client, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained. Resolving customer issues efficiently
* Updating the Transport Management System with all relevant data
* Ensuring the correct vehicle type is selected to meet the customers’ requirements
* Identifying opportunities to ensure the best rate is provided and most efficient use of resources
* Be proactive in developing business activity with both new and existing clients
* To ensure all costings are complete and correct on a daily basis
* To make sure that all relevant documentation is accurately generated and distributed
Person Specification:
* Experience of working in a transport industry preferred
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Good organisational skills
* Good analytical and planning skills
* Self-motivated, professional and proactive individual who is able to generate new business
* Independent decision maker with the ability to interact within a busy team environment
* A flexible approach to work
* High level of IT & PC literacy and ability to adapt to new technology
* High levels of numeracy and literacy
