Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading steel fabrication company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mild steel solutions to clients across a range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Estimator to join our team and help drive new business development.
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mild steel fabrication sector.
* Generate leads through networking.
* Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and actively pursue contracts.
* Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
* Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
* Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
* Work closely with the estimating and production teams to ensure accurate quotes and smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* Proven sales experience in the steel fabrication industry, particularly mild steel.
* Strong network within construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach.
* Ability to understand technical specifications and drawings is a plus.
* Full UK driving licence (if applicable).
