Job Title: Team Leader (Children’s Residential Service)
Location: Great Barr, Birmingham, B43
Salary: Up to £28,500 plus £60 per sleep in.
Hours: Average 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Job Summary:
As a Team Leader, you will:
* Provide effective monitoring, support and supervision to the staff team, always acting as a positive role model in line with Care Regulations.
* Manage staff rotas, complete daily shift queries, and ensure handover is completed to a high standard.
* Provide on-call cover as arranged by the Home Manager.
* Ensure all required documentation and records are completed in line with requirements.
* Ensure positive relationships with the children & young people, and always safeguard them.

Essential Skills:
* UK Full Driving Licence
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Children’s Residential Service
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in residential childcare (Minimum 2 years) - Essential
* Qualified - Hold a Diploma Level 3 in residential childcare or equivalent – Essential
