Summary
In this role, you’ll contribute to technology that helps customers make the world safer and fairer. As a Platform Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and cloud infrastructure—enabling engineering teams to ship high-quality software faster and more reliably.
Key responsibilities
* Build and evolve self-service tooling, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments (Azure)
* Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, alongside GitOps workflows
* Create “golden paths” and “paved roads” to reduce cognitive load and improve developer experience
* Monitor, optimise, and ensure security, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the platform
* Collaborate with SRE, Security, and application teams to define standards and best practices
* Automate repetitive tasks and reduce toil through tooling, documentation, and runbooks
* Drive adoption of modern platform practices such as observability, progressive delivery, and chaos engineering

Your experience
* 3+ years’ experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
* A proven track record of building and scaling production-grade systems
* Experience working in agile teams with fast iteration cycles
* Exposure to large-scale deployments supporting 100+ developers or multiple product teams
* Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, with a focus on performance and cost optimisation
