We have a new opportunity to be part of our Model Operations team in the role of Paint Technician. As a Paint Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of components used across our model build and engineering programmes. Working in a fast-paced and precision-driven environment, you will use your technical knowledge and keen eye for detail to ensure all parts meet the visual and performance standards required by our team.
Preparing, masking, priming, painting, and finishing high-performance components in line with precise specifications and visual standards.
Working with a range of substrates including plastics, composites, and metals.
Accurately documenting work completed, materials used, and any quality issues.
Actively identifying and supporting process improvements to enhance paint quality and operational efficiency.
Strong demonstrable experience in industrial, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing paint processes.
Proven knowledge of paint systems including solvent-based, water-based, and 2K finishes.
Understanding of technical drawings, process instructions, and visual quality standards.
Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support time-critical projects.
Experience painting high-visibility or high-precision components.
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
