The Role: Keeping Things Squeaky Clean As our Operational Finance Assistant, you won’t just be pushing buttons. You’ll be the critical link between our procurement team and our financial reporting, acting as the "U-bend" that catches discrepancies before they become a problem! Your Key Responsibilities: Master the Flow (P2P): Oversee the full "Purchase-to-Pay" lifecycle. From validating multi-currency invoices to ensuring VAT is handled with precision, you’ll keep our ledgers sparkling. Smooth Payment Streams: Execute payment runs (BACS/CHAPS) that keep our vendors happy and our cash flow steady. Fix the Leaks: Investigate and resolve intricate invoice discrepancies. You’ll dive deep into the supply chain to find the root cause of any drips or drops in data. Month-End: Support the Management Accountant with accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis. You’ll help ensure our month-end reports are as polished as a chrome tap. System Upgrades: Work with the Senior AP to identify bottlenecks in our ERP system, implementing automated workflows that make the department run like a well-oiled whirlpool. Are You the Perfect Fit?
