Description
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with business objectives
* Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and act as primary regulatory contact
* Lead Carbon reduction and Net Zero commitment initiatives
* Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement mitigation measures
* Design and deliver HSE training programs and foster safety culture across all levels
* Drive environmental sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and energy efficiency
* Provide leadership and development to direct reports
* Prepare comprehensive EHS performance reports and communicate with stakeholders
Profile
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential:
* NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
* NEBOSH Environmental Management
* CMIOSH membership or working towards (minimum Grad IOSH)
* Proven senior EHS leadership experience in UK manufacturing
* In-depth knowledge of UK EHS regulations and ISO standards (14001, 45001)
Desirable:
* Advanced degree in Environmental Science or related field
* NEBOSH Fire/L3 Fire Risk Assessor certification
