VJ Technology are looking for an Customer Support Executive (Internal Sales) to join us in our Glasgow office on a permanent basis.
Working hours are 40 per week Monday - Friday between hours of 8am-6pm with an hour unpaid lunch break.
The successful applicant will be expected to spend two weeks training at our Head Office in Ashford, Kent; expenses will be covered.
With this role there is eligibility to earn commission.

Purpose
Provide sales, administrative and customer service support, to perform a variety of sales-related task’s. Customer Support is both customer facing and dealing with customers, whilst also being available for support for the wider team.
With potential progression to 'Internal Account Manager' for candidates wishing to pursue a career in Sales.
Day-to-day role
· Manage straight to order accounts to increase sales team capacity
· Answer departmental incoming enquiries either by telephone or e-mail.
· First point of contact for sales-related telephone calls.
· Raising purchase orders on suppliers - arrangement and tracking of deliveries to Customer.
· Raising invoices on customer orders
· To learn all aspects of business from quotation to order receipt, purchase order, through production at factory to dispatch and learn how to use the company software.
· Produce quotations for our "standard" products and monitor / follow up on these quotations to convert to sales
· Answer customer queries and liaise with all departments to resolve customer issues.
· Manage telephone enquiries, specify products for customers’ applications or pass more complex enquiries to the sales managers or branch manager.
· Additional support as cover for absence.
· Processing orders
· Responsible for error logs and forms
· Filing, Customer POD’s, queries etc
Job Scope
The job has overall responsibility to improve the customer experience supporting the wider team, allowing better service to our customers. Supporting by directly dealing with our clients as well as providing assistance with other direct sales related tasks.
Skills you possess:
· Experience of working in a quality-driven and customer-focused environment (desirable)
· Experience working in fixings/trade industry is essential
· Internal sales experience & sales administration experience
· Experience of communicating via telephone and emails
· Experience of working in a customer service environment
· Proficient IT Skills & knowledge
· Computer literate
· Experience of working within an office environment
