Role
Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Midlands-based (with occasional wider travel)
Salary: Circa £35k + overtime (DOE)
About the Role
We’re a fast-growing, family-run fire and security company with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. This mobile role involves commissioning, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.
You’ll be working independently and collaboratively, representing our company with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities
 * Commission and service addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
 * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and remedial works
 * Diagnose faults and complete repairs to industry standards
 * Complete job sheets, service reports, and certification documentation
 * Liaise confidently with site managers, clients, and internal teams
 * Ensure compliance with BS 5839-1:2025 and health & safety regulations
 * Provide onsite guidance to installation teams when required
What We’re Looking For
 * 5+ years’ experience in the fire alarm industry
 * Strong working knowledge of Gent, Kentec, Morley, Apollo, Advanced systems
 * Proven ability to fault-find independently
 * Full UK driving licence
 * ECS/CSCS card and FIA/Level 3 qualifications (desirable)
 * Excellent communication and client-facing skills
