Responsibilities
* Support the Service Introduction Manager in managing service transitions across a £6m project portfolio.
* Act as a quality gate for service readiness, ensuring all deliverables meet operational standards.
* Collaborate with IT Project Managers, Architects, and BAU teams to ensure effective governance and execution.
* Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and support continuous improvement through post-transition reviews.
* Design and maintain service introduction processes and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and internal policies.
What do I need?
* Some experience helping to move IT services from project delivery into day-to-day operations.
* A working understanding of ITIL practices, such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Transition Management.
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including areas like infrastructure, testing, and documentation.
* Confidence working with a range of people — both technical and non-technical — and a collaborative approach to getting things done.
* An interest in service design and introduction, including things like support models, service validation, and process mapping (e.g., using Visio).
* Some exposure to tools like ServiceNow and Jira, and an awareness of ways of working such as Agile, DevOps, or ITIL.
