Quantity Surveyor – Civils
Location: Teesside

About the Role
Lemon Drizzle Recruitment has been appointed to find an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a Civils Subcontractor based in Teesside. You will manage civils packages for commercial and industrial build projects across the North East.
You’ll be office-based, with occasional site visits as required, and will be working with a mix of JCT, NEC, and bespoke contracts.
If you have a strong background in quantity surveying and a passion for civils projects, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage civils projects of various sizes, ensuring clear and accurate budgets are produced.
* Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to deliver projects within budget.
* Oversee procurement to align with programme and tender targets.
* Handle client accounts and monthly project reporting.
* Manage change control, risk and opportunity processes.
* Work closely with site teams to track progress and cost of site resources.
* Provide detailed commercial analysis and submit monthly payment applications.
* Manage multiple projects with varying complexities.

Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
* Background in civils essential
* Able to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
* Excellent communicator, confident dealing with all stakeholders
* Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence required
