Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams to provide energy modelling insights that inform design decisions.
Conduct detailed performance analyses to ensure compliance with energy and sustainability standards.
Prepare and present technical reports to clients and stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable building solutions.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Energy & Building Performance Modeller, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality building performance analysis and energy modelling. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and running building performance models using IES Virtual Environment (IES VE).
Conducting analyses such as TM52/TM59 overheating assessments, TM54 operational energy, and Part L/EPC compliance.
Preparing clear, concise, and accurate technical reports and model outputs for internal teams and clients.
Collaborating with design, sustainability, and engineering teams to influence efficient and sustainable outcomes.
Providing modelling support for building services and energy conservation strategies.
Contributing to the development of internal standards, templates, and quality control processes.
Qualifications
Essential:
2-5 years of experience in building energy modelling or building performance analysis.
Proficiency in IES VE or similar dynamic simulation tools.
Strong understanding of relevant performance methodologies, including TM52, TM54, TM59, Part L, and EPC compliance.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present technical information effectively.
