Close to Leicester (fully onsite) - around 15 mins from J21 M1 Leicester Forest Junction.

Rate: £35 ph FCSA Umbrella (This role is deemed Inside IR35) / £25.50 ph PAYE
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Configuration Support Engineer to join a busy technical engineering team. This is a fully onsite role based in Close to Leicester (around 15 mins from J21 M1 Leicester Forest Junction), providing vital support across product configurations, engineering data management, and process improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in maintaining engineering master models, machine bills of materials, and implementing design changes across current and new products.
Key Responsibilities:
Review engineering change data and documentation to ensure compliance with change management policies.
Communicate and coordinate changes with product development, supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
Prepare configuration documentation to support product development and machine product groups.
Support process improvement projects and ensure accuracy of engineering data.
Work collaboratively across global teams to manage multiple priorities and conflicting timelines.
Skills and Experience:
Experience with Teamcenter Engineering and PTC Creo (or similar tools).
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply basic project management principles.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in diverse or global teams.
Preferred experience with Configuration Controls & Manufacturing Data Updates within OEM Manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, rail, or similar engineering/manufacturing sectors.
Degree in engineering or relevant experience is desirable (or equivalent experience).
