If you have strong SEN experience and a passion for helping pupils thrive, this could be an excellent next step. ⭐ About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ALN/SEN needs. Use consistent behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. Adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning requirements. Support emotional regulation and confidence-building in pupils. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff teams. Help create a calm, inclusive and well-structured learning environment. This role gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who benefit from stability, patience and understanding. ⭐ Who We’re Looking For Must-Haves: Experience supporting pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, GDD, etc.). Strong behaviour management skills. A calm, resilient and nurturing approach. DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Nice-to-Haves: Training such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness or SEMH support. Experience supporting IDPs or personalised learning plans.
