This company offers a truly R&D focused environment where you will be tasked with designing wearables, IoT devices, access control and the next generation of metering systems. The role focuses on R&D for the latest product suite and future products aimed at new industries such as health & leisure, wearables & telecoms.
This business has grown over the last decade and is quickly becoming one of Scotland’s leading names in the Smart Energy sector, acting as a tier‑one supplier for EDF, Npower and David Lloyds.
The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys R&D projects, has experience in Altium for PCB design and will manage verification and validation for product releases.
THE ROLE:
* Work collaboratively to define the product development life cycle
* Use Altium for PCB design and layouts
* Test and debug designs
* Work both in a team and autonomously to build theoretical models
THE PERSON:
* Experience writing code in PCB Design
* Experience with Altium
* Can commute to Dundee on occasion or work remotely
