Our core brands of the Group are Coppa Club and Noci. Coppa Club is a multi-use, all-day concept that brings dining, café-workspace, lounge, and bar under one roof, while Noci is a neighbourhood fresh pasta restaurant. The Group currently operates across twenty sites.
* Developing and implementing a procurement strategy based on understanding business needs, collaborating with department heads to ensure their requirements are fulfilled at the most competitive cost base and optimising all business functions.
* Supply Chain Security - Ensure appropriate supplier contracts, pricing agreements contingency plans are in place and due diligence is carried out on both new and existing suppliers as and when required.
* Product Sourcing – Work closely with all departments to deliver products that support the business plan, growth, our values and our purpose goals.
* Suppliers – Work closely with all suppliers, understand their capability of supplying the required service levels, product range, volume and their expectations of a great working relationship.
* Managing the cost base and working with Finance and Operations to deliver the business plan.
* Understanding the Hospitality/FMCG Industry and wider macro-economics which have a potential impact on supply and strategy both in the short and long term and updating the business on a regular basis of these changes and their impact.
* Systems and process – ensure that procurement systems and all processes are set up correctly, understood, followed, meet the users and business needs and are reviewed on a regular basis.
* Reporting and analysis – developing a set of KPI’s and building the reports and analysis that enable their delivery.
About You
As Head of Procurement, you will be able to demonstrate strong managerial skills, work autonomously and be able to collaborate closely and communicate effectively with suppliers and people within the support team and restaurants. You must be able to prioritise your workload effectively, demonstrate practical solutions and evaluate and action opportunities which add to the success of the business and people in it.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally in the hospitality/food and beverage sector.
* Experience of implementing and embedding procurement strategy.
* A passion to develop the people around them and share knowledge/experience.
* Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures.
* Strong influencing skills at a senior level to influence new ways of working.
* Confident negotiator when working with whatever level of internal or external stakeholder.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Extensive knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes within multisite food and beverage operations.
* Working knowledge of negotiation, contract law, forecasting and competitor analysis.
